We had a fantastic experience with Swanson Speech Therapy for my daughter. The location was convenient and very comfortable and quiet. Natalie immediately developed rapport with my daughter, efficiently evaluated her needs, and implemented a plan that was fun and effective. She was able to connect brain/awareness, mouth/tongue position, and sound/articulation in a way that my daughter could connect and understand for herself which gave her the foundation to make real progress. Natalie was able to relate the sessions to real life which helped to bridge the skills into day to day use drawing on interests and activities that my daughter had shared which made it feel relevant to her. We could not have been more happy with the time we spent with Swanson Speech Therapy!

Natalie and the team at Swanson Speech Therapy has been a godsend. I don’t know how they do it, but they are able to engage with my kids like no other teachers. Both my kids were seeing natalie on a weekly basis and the leaps they made week to week has been nothing short of amazing. My kids have worked with both teacher Rachel. (yes, they’re both Rachels and so kind with my kids.) Natalie and team are the greatest empaths that creates a positive and safe environment for the kids to learn and grow. I say this to everyone I talk to— SLPs are literal angels on earth! We are so grateful for all that Natalie has done for us as a family and I appreciate how encouraging and comforting she’s been during each and every one of our visits. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful experience working with Piper at Swanson Speech Therapy! She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Scheduling was easy and we loved that she was able to do sessions at our house and school. We can't say enough great things about Piper or this experience, and would highly recommend to others!

My 2 year old and I had a great experience with Natalie at Swanson Speech Therapy. Our weekly sessions were fun and personable, and lead to the results we hoped for our previously speech-delayed daughter. I recommend Natalie to everyone!

Far too often I am asked to write a review on an experience, but in this case when Brittany asked me to provide one I was happy to do so. We were fortunate to have found Swanson Speech and Brittany to help fine tune some verbal speech needing a little help from our little guy. Brittany was very warm, very supportive and helpful not just to our son, but also with us. Our son never looked at this as a "chore" and really enjoyed working with Brittany and was always on his game to improve. All of our lessons were done virtual and we had originally believed this would not have had the desired impact. We were delightfully proven wrong and the virtual lessons with Brittany worked out great for our son and our family. Many thanks

Our daughter is 3 months from turning 5. A couple nights ago, my wife and I sat on the couch and rewatched old videos of our daughter from when she was 2 and 3. We couldn’t understand a thing she was saying in those videos. Adorable, but unintelligible. The crazy thing is, at the time, we understood all of it. We translated for her with friends and family. We didn’t think much of it until she grew aware that she wasn’t understood and she became frustrated. She lost confidence. That broke our hearts. Her hearing tests had all been normal or inconclusive, so we hadn’t taken further action when she was younger. But by the time she was 3, we began to look into speech therapy to address her delays. The first place we took her was clinical and transactional. Our daughter wasn’t responding to the interactions and we didn’t feel any warmth in the ‘therapists’ approach. We discontinued treatment. Soon after, we found Natalie through a recommendation and she offered home visits for an extra charge. Our daughter responded differently to Natalie’s warmth, presence, and approach. She began making progress fairly quickly. After some continued tests at Children’s, we learned she did have some hearing impairment and she needed a small procedure. This addressed her hearing but now she needed to learn how to distinguish sounds and form them with her mouth. Natalie continued to work with our daughter and us, giving us games, activities, and simple techniques to develop and encourage her articulation. Last week was our final week of speech therapy and we are so grateful for Natalie’s support in cultivating our daughters speech, but maybe more importantly, her voice. Our daughter has rediscovered her confidence and we are watching as it redefines her relationships with family and friends. We wish we would have started sooner with therapy, but we’re grateful our delay led us to Natalie.

I have worked with two other speech therapists for my kids, and I found Natalie to be exceptional. She is warm, patient and happy and really knows how to gain the trust of toddlers and build rapport. She plans on building skills of increasing complexity and explains to me what techniques she is using and why and how to continue working on my son's skills after each session. She had sessions both at home and at my son's preschool, and I have been presented to most of the sessions, but I can always count on her leaving me a quick write-up after each session. I really appreciated her flexibility on visiting my son at his preschool to help my son verbalize when interacting with other kids and build his social and communication skills.
